ELIGIBILITY
Australian Business Registration:
To subscribe to Auz Business Hive services (an affiliate of Melbourne Business Centre), the client must be a registered Australian business and contactable within Australia.
The Client must have (or be in the process of obtaining) one of the following:
Service provision may be limited until valid registration is verified.
Contactable within Australia:
Clients must provide an Australian mobile phone number for system-generated communications.
Prerequisites for overseas businesses.
As a prerequisite for use of our services, we require one of the following document/identifications from our overseas clients to start the business verification process.
MEMBERSHIP
Auz Business Hive provides services and facilities to support members' businesses. Members are expected to conduct activities without posing threats to the staff, management, business reputation, or the working environment of Auz Business Hive or other members.
PROOF OF IDENTITY
New members must validate their email and Australian mobile phone number. A current Australian Driver’s License or a valid Passport may also be requested. Clients are responsible for maintaining and updating their contact details.
ACTIVATION OF SERVICES
Services are activated upon payment confirmation. However, they may be limited until identity verification is complete. If proof of identity is not provided within 28 days, services, particularly mail handling, will be restricted.
TERM
Services are provided annually (or in accordance with the chosen membership packages on offer) and continue until termination by either party.
TERMINATION
Either Auz Business Hive or the Client can terminate services with 30 days’ written notice. Termination may be immediate under certain conditions, such as non-payment, illegal activities, or disruptive behaviour.
TERMINATION DUE TO NON-PAYMENT
Services may be suspended or terminated without notice if payments are not made as required.
INVOICES
Subscription fees are billed annually (or in accordance with the chosen membership packages on offer) in advance. Additional service fees are included in the subsequent invoice. Invoices are emailed with payment options and online payment links.
INITIAL INVOICE
Mid-month subscriptions receive a pro-rated initial invoice to align with the monthly billing cycle.
ADDITIONAL COSTS
Additional services and their costs are available upon request. These may include postage, call costs, meeting room hire, etc.
GST
Prices and fees are exclusive of GST, which will be added as per government guidelines.
PAYMENTS
Payments are due within 7 days of invoice issue. Non-refundable fees are charged at the beginning of the term. Various payment options are provided.
REFUNDS
Annual or Monthly service fees are non-refundable.
ROOM HIRE CANCELLATIONS
A minimum 24-hour notice is required for cancellations of room bookings. Late cancellations incur full charges.
SUSPENDED SERVICES
Services will be suspended for accounts in arrears and reinstated upon full payment.
ACCOUNT RESTORING FEE
A fee is applied for re-establishing services on accounts that were cancelled due to non-payment.
INSURANCE
Auz Business Hive maintains necessary insurances through its principal Melbourne Business Centre, but these do not cover clients' personal property. Clients are advised to arrange their own insurance.
BUSINESS HOURS
Open from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding specific holidays.
BUILDING RULES
Clients must adhere to the general building rules available at Reception.
AIR CONDITIONING/CLIMATE CONTROL
Available during specific hours; charges apply outside these hours.
INTERNET/WI-FI
High-speed access is provided, but security and availability are not guaranteed.
PARCELS
Restrictions apply to parcel size, weight, and storage duration.
EXCESSIVE USE
Auz Business Hive may address excessive use of services or facilities to ensure reasonable resource allocation.
DISPUTES
Invoice disputes must be raised within 14 days of issue for investigation and resolution.
LIABILITY
Auz Business Hive disclaims warranties and liability for certain losses or damages.
INDEMNIFICATION
Clients agree to indemnify Auz Business Hive against liabilities arising from their use of services and facilities.
CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Auz Business Hive reserves the right to modify these terms with 30 days’ notice.
